AbbVie Immunology Scholarship

The AbbVie Immunology Scholarship is designed to provide financial support for exceptional students living with chronic inflammatory diseases. Scholarships of up to $15,000 each will be awarded, dependent upon type of degree pursued. Applicants must be legal residents of the U.S. and diagnosed by a healthcare professional with one of the following: ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s disease (CD), hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), psoriasis (Ps), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ulcerative colitis (UC), or uveitis (UV).

Qualified applicants must plan to enroll in undergraduate (associate’s, bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s, MD, JD, doctorate) study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S. for the entire upcoming academic year. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement, and ability to serve as a positive role model in the immunology community.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship

The Amazon Future Engineer scholarship program assists high school seniors who have completed an advanced placement computer science course, or who have taken an advanced placement computer science test and plan to continue their education at an accredited four-year college or university. Applicants must be planning to major in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or other computer-related field of study. Winners of the award receive $10,000 per year at an accredited four-year college or university as well as a paid summer internship at Amazon after their freshman year of college.

Arborjet Taking Root Scholarship Program

Arborjet has established its Taking Root Scholarship Program to encourage and enable bright and promising young students to fulfill their dreams of entering careers in the arboriculture industry. Scholarships are offered for students looking to pursue full-time studies in Forestry, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Entomology, Environmental Science or a related major at an accredited two- or four-year college or university of the student’s choice.

Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) Scholarship Program

The Binc Scholarship Program is open to bookstore employees, bookstore owners, former Borders employees and dependents* of bookstore employees, owners and former Borders employees who plan to enroll in full or part-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for at least half of the upcoming academic year.

*Dependents include children under the age of 25, spouses and qualified same-sex partners.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship for Cancer Survivors

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship For Cancer Survivors provides assistance to cancer survivors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

Applicants must be cancer survivors, age 25 and under, who are high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates. To be eligible, you must be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Up to 25 students will receive $10,000 scholarship awards. (Funds for this scholarship were provided by a donation from Bristol-Myers Squibb.) Awards are not renewable, but you may reapply each year that you meet eligibility requirements.

BURGER KING Scholars Program

Integrity, high standards, entrepreneurial spirit, good citizenship and education were the values that defined BURGER KING® co-founder James W. McLamore. It was those values that helped realize a dream and it is those same values that are the core of the BURGER KING McLAMORE Foundation. Administered by the Foundation, the BURGER KING Scholars program assists employees, employees’ spouses or domestic partners, employees’ children and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada in continuing their education.

High school seniors are invited to apply for the Burger King Scholars program if they live in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico; have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent; be active in their community through volunteering, sports, clubs and/or religious organizations; and plan to enroll full-time in 2021-22 at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.

Church Mutual Religious Scholar Program

The Church Mutual Religious Scholars Program, established by CM CARES, is offering 50 scholarships of $5,000 each to the religious leaders of tomorrow, totaling $250,000 to assist students pursuing an advanced degree in religious studies.

To apply, students must be enrolled in a full-time, advanced degree religious studies program at an accredited theological seminary, college or university of higher learning in the United States for the entire 2020-21 academic year. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent), and must demonstrate personal impact through their education, work experiences, and volunteerism.

In addition, applicants must be committed to entering the practice of full-time ministry in the United States following completion of studies — including leading a denominational congregation, or worship group, or serving in religious leadership at a house of worship. Religious students of all denominations are encouraged to apply.

Up to fifty (50) awards will be granted; awards are one-time only and not renewable.

Cognizant Accelerate Diversity Scholarship Program

Cognizant’s Accelerate Diversity scholarship program addresses the conundrum that, while the future has never looked brighter for STEM careers, there is evidence that these exciting careers are failing to attract broad segments of our population.

This unique $5,000 scholarship program is designed from a Cognizant perspective to identify and develop diverse talent for the Future of Work.

Current sophomores or juniors at accredited 4-year colleges are invited to apply, if they are enrolled as a STEM or Business major with a focus on pursuing a career in IT and related business services. Applicants must be citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States, and must be able to demonstrate commitment to the value of diversity.

Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program

The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program recognizes students for their community service, academic performance and leadership skills. This year, Comcast is awarding more than 800 $2,500 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors.

To apply, students must be graduating from high school in 2021, plan to enroll full-time at a two- or four-year college or university in the United States, and reside in a community served by Comcast and/or participating NBCUniversal or Telemundo markets. Eligibility will be determined by zip code in the online application. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent), show financial need and demonstrate a commitment to community service as well as outstanding character, integrity and leadership. Cory L. Richards Memorial Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Guttmacher Institute

The Cory L. Richards Memorial Scholarship Program is open to graduate students who are pursuing a Masters Degree in the field of Public Policy or Public Health and demonstrate a commitment to advancing public policy related to sexual and reproductive rights. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) to apply.

One individual will be designated each year as a Cory Richards Scholar and awarded a one-time scholarship of $15,000 to support full-time graduate study at an accredited institution in the United States.

The individual will be selected based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, an essay, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal completed by a professor, advisor or mentor. Financial need will also be considered.

DEWALT Trades Scholarship

The DEWALT Trades Scholarship is providing five awards of up to $10,000 each to students and makers pursuing full-time study at two-year colleges or vocational-technical schools.

Applicants must be current high school seniors or college undergraduates with a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). To apply, you must be pursuing a major in trade fields such as construction, industrial, motor/power sector, mechanics or technology, and you must be planning on full-time undergraduate study during the 2020-21 academic year. Only the first 1,000 applications will be accepted.

Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway Promotion

Every student deserves a chance to realize their potential. That’s why Dr Pepper gave away over $1,000,000 in tuition last year to help students across the country pursue their dreams.

Since 2008, the Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway Promotion and Contest has changed lives by giving away millions of dollars in tuition. With the challenges of rising tuition costs and studying full-time, Dr Pepper takes pride in helping students achieve their goals.

If you’re a student between the ages of 18-24, you can submit your goal and upload a video by clicking Apply. Dr Pepper will select finalists for a chance to compete to win up to $100,000 in tuition at a college football conference championship game in December.
