The AB HBCU Scholars Program provides $5,000 awards, summer internships and mentoring opportunities to second-year students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Applicants must be current sophomores graduating in 2025 with a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) who self-identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, and must be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study in an eligible major for the entire next academic year.

Recipients of the AB HBCU Scholarship must complete a 9-week paid internship with AllianceBernstein during the summer of 2023; awards are renewable up to one additional year if recipients meet renewal requirements.

The AbbVie Immunology Scholarship is designed to provide financial support for exceptional students living with chronic inflammatory diseases. Scholarships of up to $15,000 each are available, with specific amounts depending on the type of degree the recipient is pursuing.

Applicants must be legal residents of the U.S. and diagnosed by a healthcare professional with one of the following: ankylosing spondylitis (AS), atopic dermatitis (AD), Crohn’s disease (CD), hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), psoriasis (Ps), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ulcerative colitis (UC), or uveitis (UV).

Qualified applicants must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate (associate’s, bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s, MD, JD, doctorate) study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S. for the entire upcoming academic year. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement, and ability to serve as a positive role model in the immunology community.

The Allen, Dena and Michele Baum Scholarship Fund, part of the Boca Bearings Momentum initiative, provides $3,000 scholarship awards to Florida students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.

Applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates or current college undergraduates residing in Florida, and must plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study toward a mechanical engineering major at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year. Awards are not renewable, but students may re-apply each year they meet eligibility requirements.

The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship program is providing up to 400 high school seniors with an opportunity to upgrade their careers with a $40,000 scholarship, plus a paid internship at Amazon!

To apply, you must be a high school senior planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, planning to attend an accredited 4-year college or university (or an accredited 2-year college, with the intent to transfer to a 4-year institution).

Applicants must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, a high school or college dual degree course where computer science, engineering or robotics is the subject.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship recipients will earn a renewable $10,000 scholarship at an accredited four-year college or university(*), as well as a paid internship at Amazon.

(*Recipients at two-year schools will receive $5,000/year for up to two years until transferring to a four-year school, and $10,000/year for up to two following years.)

Amcor is a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal care, and other products. To support the next generation of skilled workers and tradespeople, Amcor is awarding up to 20 scholarships of $2,500 each to students pursuing industrial skilled-trade programs.

Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who reside in one of the following states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Pennsylvania, or New York.

Applicants must also be pursuing a certificate* or associate’s degree in an industrial skilled trade (mechanical, electronics or automation, for example) and have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Finally, applicants must plan to enroll in fulltime study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

*Certificates must be at least one academic semester/term in length and must run on a standard academic calendar. Applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed.

The American Water Inclusion and Diversity Scholarship program is awarding up to ten renewable awards of $10,000 each to students in the 24 states where American Water operates.

Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates, or current college undergraduates, residing and/or attending college in an eligible state, and must self-identify as a member of at least one of the following traditionally underrepresented groups:

• American Indian or Alaska Native
• Asian
• Black or African American
• Hispanic or Latino
• Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
• Female (any race or ethnicity)

Applicants must also be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study, pursuing a certificate or degree in a non-medical STEM or business-related field, at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards are renewable up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and full-time enrollment in an eligible major.

AMETEK Foundation, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist residents of China, Serbia, the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) who plan to continue their education in a STEM field.

Applicants must be residents of the European Union (EU) or the United Kingdom to apply for the scholarships offered in France and in the United Kingdom OR be residents of Serbia to apply for scholarships offered in Serbia, OR be residents of China to apply for the scholarship offered in China.

All applicants must be in their final year of upper or higher secondary school or be current technical or university level students, and planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at one of the following universities for the entire upcoming academic year:

• Shanghai University, Shanghai, China
• INSA, Lyon, France
• University of Leicester, Leicester, England
• Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK
• University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics, Novi Sad, Serbia
• Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences, Subotica, Serbia

Awards ranging from $500 to $5,000 (USD) are available for students majoring in STEM fields including Science (Physics or Chemistry), Technology (Computer Software Engineer, Information Security Specialist, Information Technology, or Database Administrator), Engineering or Mathematics. Study in any medical field is not eligible.

Will your college education help you make history? Are you attending Bowie State University (MD), the University of Arizona, Florida International University or Hampton University (VA)? If so, you may be eligible to apply for a $2,500 award from Ancestry’s HistoryMakers Scholarship program.

Applicants must be a current student at one of the four HistoryMakers selected universities, and have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Applicants must also be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study in the spring term, in one of the eligible fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Marketing, Finance or Business.

Born in Norway, Andreas Heiberg came to the United States in the 1960s as a bright, young mechanical engineering graduate. He became involved in logistics planning and quickly became a respected name in polar research and exploration; after he passed away in 2021, his family established the Andreas Heiberg Scholarship to celebrate his life and enthusiasm for learning.

In honor of Andreas’s adopted home and his passion for practical knowledge, the Andreas Heiberg Scholarship is providing $3,000 awards for up to 15 students in the state of Washington who are pursuing degrees in STEM fields.*

Applicants must be high school seniors, graduates or current college undergraduates who reside in Washington and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Applicants must also plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study in an eligible field at an accredited four-year college or university in the state of Washington for the entire upcoming academic year.

*Medical-related fields are not eligible.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need, are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and must plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year, pursuing a degree in one of the following areas of study (or similar):

• Culinary Arts
• Communications/Public Relations/Digital Media
• Information Technology
• Graphic Design

Students at eligible 4-year colleges and universities in regions served by Axalta, a global leader in the coatings industry, can apply for renewable scholarships of $5,000 per year from the Axalta Bright Futures Scholarship Program.

Applicants must be current college undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students planning to enroll in fulltime undergraduate or graduate study next year at an eligible school, and must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree in Color Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

All applicants must demonstrate financial need.

The Brave of Heart Scholarship supports the children (age 26 and under), spouses or domestic partners of frontline health care workers who lost their lives to COVID-related causes.

Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents who plan to enroll, full-time or part-time, in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must also have a GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent. The Brave of Heart Scholarship is not a competitive program; all eligible applicants will receive funds. Non-traditional students, students in study-abroad programs and individuals returning to college after time off are encouraged to apply, even if they do not have a recent GPA.

Award amounts range from $5,000 to $25,000 per year for undergraduates, depending on financial need, area of study and type of degree a person is seeking. (Graduate students may qualify for awards up to $50,000/year.) Applicants can receive the award a maximum of eight times or four academic years, whichever occurs first.
