Rocket is excited to offer 10 scholarships to assist team members’ children who plan to continue education in undergraduate, graduate or vocational school programs.

Impact the Future: Scholarship Program

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Impact the Future: Scholarship Program must be:

  • Benefit-eligible children*, age 26 and under as of 12/31/2026, of full-time team members from eligible companies** who have a minimum of one-year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date (May 4, 2026) and is in good standing with no performance review letter within the last six months.
  • US and Canada: High school seniors, graduates, or GED holders who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
  • India: Higher secondary, undergraduate, or diploma students who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited two-, three-, or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

*Children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren of team members from eligible companies.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive either a $2,000 or $4,000 award. Ten (10) awards will be granted. Award amounts are determined by the country in which the recipient resides: recipients residing in the U.S. or Canada will be granted awards of $4,000; recipients residing in India will be granted awards of $2,000.

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

There is a limit of one award per household per year. A recipient cannot receive an award in two consecutive years and can receive no more than two awards total.

Awards are for undergraduate, graduate or vocational school programs and must be used for education-related expenses.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in July.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Rocket, LLC. Payment is made in early August.

Selection of Recipients

Finalists are selected by Scholarship America on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An essay on the following topic: At Rocket, we believe in the importance of being a good neighbor. What does being a “good neighbor” mean to you? Share a real experience from your life where you acted as a good neighbor to others. Reflect on why the experience was meaningful and the lasting impact it has on you.

Financial need is not considered.

The Rocket Scholarship Team will review the finalist information and their essays and select the recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s):

  • A current, complete transcript/mark sheet of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.*
  • *Applicants in India who are providing Higher Secondary mark sheets/transcripts do not need to provide credit hours taken.

    NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
