Prometheus Loan Repayment Program
Prometheus Real Estate Group has established a loan repayment program to assist full-time employees in repaying outstanding student loans.
Prometheus Loan Repayment Program
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Eligibility
Applicants to the Prometheus Loan Repayment Program must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a current, full-time Prometheus Real Estate Group employee who has a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date. Employee must be in good standing with Prometheus Real Estate Group.
- Have completed an eligible, on-campus undergraduate degree program within the last seven years as of the application deadline date and, consequently, have an outstanding balance from an education loan incurred during the course of earning the eligible undergraduate degree.
*You will be asked to provide information on the Scholarship America Student Hub that is intended for current postsecondary students and not applicable to the Prometheus Loan Repayment Program. Answer these questions as they pertain to your final year in postsecondary education. Academics and other information in this section are not considered when evaluating your application for a Prometheus Loan Repayment award.
Award Amounts
If selected as a recipient, the applicant will receive up to a $3,000 loan repayment award. Up to three (3) awards will be granted.
Recipients may be previous recipients of tuition reimbursement administered internally by Prometheus Real Estate Group. Education assistance of tuition reimbursement and loan repayment cannot equal more than the current amount owed from the educational loan.
Loan repayment awards are made payable to the loan servicing agency. Awards are taxable to the employee recipient.
Loan repayment awards are one time only. Previous recipients may not reapply.
Notification
All applicants will be notified in November.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.
Payment of Awards
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Prometheus Real Estate Group. Payment is made in December to each recipient’s loan serving agency.
Selection of Recipients
Recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community and volunteer activities
- A statement of academic achievements and career goals and aspirations
- Any challenging personal or family circumstances while pursuing postsecondary education
- An online recommendation
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Prometheus Real Estate Group play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:
- A copy of the applicant’s most recent loan statement. The statement must display:
- Applicant name
- Loan balance and loan servicing agent name, address and account number
- A current, complete transcript of grades, including the most recently completed term. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Term in which the course was taken
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than October 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM Central Time.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
