All applicants must be FPL customers and addresses will be verified by Florida Power & Light Company before winners will be selected and announced.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of the NextEra Energy Foundation, NextEra Energy or Florida Power & Light Company play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
