New Visions for Public Schools has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children of New Visions for Public Schools employees who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice for the upcoming school year.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of $3,750. Up to five (5) awards will be granted.
Awards are renewable up to three (3) years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent on the basis of satisfactory academic performance and continued parental employment.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
There is a $15,000 maximum lifetime family total when combining all of the following benefits:

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of New Visions for Public Schools. Payment is mailed to the recipient and made payable to the school/university in early August.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 22, 2026 3:00 PM Central Time.
