M.A. Mortenson Company has established a scholarship program to assist children or grandchildren of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of M.A. Mortenson Company play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified in late May.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of M.A. Mortenson Company. Payment is made in one installment in early August.
Team members must be actively employed at the time the scholarship is awarded.
Awards ranging from $3,000 to $15,000 will be granted, with higher awards granted to the highest ranking applicants pursuing a 4-year degree or certification in construction, real estate, or engineering-related program.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Recipients may be offered future mentorship, internship, and/or employment opportunities provided by Mortenson.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than three business days after the application deadline date.
