Moog Inc. Scholarship Program
Moog Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college.
Moog Inc. Scholarship Program
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Eligibility
Applicants to the Moog Inc. Scholarship Program must:
- Be dependent* children, age 24 and under, of full-time Moog Inc. domestic employees who have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
*Dependent children are children who qualify for benefits provided by the company. - Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
Awards
- If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award.
- Up to six (6) awards will be granted.
- Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
- Renewal is contingent on the basis of maintaining a cumulative grade point average of a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent in a full-time course of study, the continuation of the program by Moog Inc., and continued parental employment.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in June.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Moog Inc. Payments is made in early August.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- Statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An online recommendation
Financial need will be considered. Recipients will be selected from a pool of qualified applicants with consideration given to those who demonstrate the greatest need.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Moog Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following document:

- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than three business days after the application deadline date.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
