Selection of Recipients

Modern Woodmen members are united by three common bonds – financial security, quality family life, and community impact. Through the application essay questions, applicants will share information about how their educational journey aligns with these values and how achieving their educational goals would positively influence their family and their community. The responses will also demonstrate how the scholarship would empower applicants to live out the common bonds.

  • How will reaching your educational goals contribute to financial security for you?
  • How will reaching your educational goals contribute to quality family life for you?
  • How will reaching your educational goals contribute to community impact for you?

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Modern Woodmen of America play a part in the selection.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
