Fujifilm Scholarship Program

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation has a scholarship program to assist the children of employees of designated Fujifilm Companies who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered for study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

Fujifilm Scholarship Program

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria as of the application deadline date:

  • Applicants must be dependent* children, age 26 and under, of regular full-time employees below the level of Vice President, who have a minimum of six months of employment with one of the following FUJIFILM Companies/Divisions:
    • FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies California, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies North Carolina, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Texas, LLC
    • FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. (RTP)
    • FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc. (inc. Process Chemicals & Ultra Pure Solutions)
    • FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation
    • FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation
    • FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM North America Corporation (inc. Canada)
    • FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc.
    • FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals U.S.A. Corporation

*Dependent children are defined as children who qualify for benefits provided by the applicable FUJIFILM Company.

  • Applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates, or current college undergraduates who plan to be enrolled for a minimum of 9 credits per semester of undergraduate study at an accredited two‑or four‑year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

FUJIFILM reserves the right to discontinue the program at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,000 award for undergraduate study. Up to 32 awards will be granted.

Awards are one-time only and past recipients may not reapply.

Awards will be disbursed throughout all FUJIFILM employee locations provided qualified candidates apply.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of FUJIFILM. Payment is mailed in late July. Parents must be employed at the time scholarships are paid.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of FUJIFILM play a part in the selection.  All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
