FedEx Office Scholarship Program

FedEx Office is proud to provide a scholarship program to assist in making quality education more attainable. Scholarships are available to both full-time and part-time FedEx Office team members with a minimum of one year of employment, in addition to the children and legal dependents of our team members.

The FedEx Office Scholarship Program was established to assist the education of qualified children, legally dependent stepchildren, and wards of U.S. and internationally based FedEx Office team members. All scholarships are independently administered by Scholarship America.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the FedEx Office Scholarship Program must be:

  • The child, legally dependent stepchild, or ward of a regular, full-time or part-time FedEx Office team member. Other FedEx Opcos are not eligible for this FedEx Office Scholarship. The team member must have a minimum of one year of employment as of the application deadline date. Receipt of scholarship checks is contingent upon the parent or team member remaining employed at FedEx Office or the applicant may be a dependent of a deceased team member, who had a minimum of one-year employment and was employed with the company at the time of death.

AND

  • A graduating high school senior, high school graduate or college undergraduate, who is enrolled or is planning to enroll for a minimum of 12 credits per quarter or semester* at an accredited two-or four-year college or university or vocational/technical school, and is accepted by that institution during the year for which the scholarship is given.

OR

  • A regular full-time or part-time FedEx Office team member with a minimum of one year of employment who is enrolled or is planning to enroll for a minimum of 9 credits per quarter or semester* at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational/technical school, and is accepted by that institution during the year for which the scholarship is given. The course of study does not have to be directly related to the team member’s position at FedEx Office.

*Nine credits and above is considered Full-time enrollment

Team members or dependents of team members who are Managing Directors or above are not eligible.

Awards

Established in 1989, these scholarships offer awards from $1,000 to $5,000 depending upon financial need and may be used for undergraduate study in any discipline at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or vocational/technical school. Scholarships may only be awarded to students pursuing their first undergraduate degree.

Awards are renewable for up to three years contingent upon maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above, or until an initial undergraduate degree is awarded, whichever occurs first.

All awards are for first-time undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
