Credit Human Scholarship Program

Credit Human Federal Credit Union has established a scholarship program to assist members, children, grandchildren, and spouses of members who are currently in college or who have completed some college and would like to return to finish their education.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants of the Credit Human Scholarship Program must be:

  • Credit Human members OR children, grandchildren, or spouses of Credit Human members in good standing for a minimum of one year as of the application deadline date.
    AND
  • Current college undergraduates OR returning students who have completed at least an associate’s degree (or equivalent number of credits) within the last five years who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
    AND
  • Maintain a 2.8 cumulative GPA or above.

Recipients who do not belong to Credit Human at the time of application will be required to become members by June 30, 2026 or they will not receive the scholarship. Please visit https://www.credithuman.com/join-credit-human to learn more about becoming a member.

Children, grandchildren, or spouses of Credit Human employees are eligible to apply. Credit Human employees are not eligible.

High school seniors (including seniors who will graduate with an associate’s degree as part of a dual enrollment program) and students attending trade, technical or vocational-technical schools, independent programs, and/or internship opportunities are not eligible.

Awards

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award.
  • Up to seven (7) awards will be granted.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Awards are one-time only and not renewable. Past recipients are not eligible to apply again.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Credit Human. Payments are made directly to the school in early August.
