The Clorox Company Foundation Scholarship Program

The Clorox Company Foundation Scholarship Program has been established to assist the children of The Clorox Company employees worldwide who plan to pursue postsecondary education in college programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited post-secondary institution or accredited technical/occupational school of the student’s choice in any country.

The Clorox Company Foundation Scholarship Program

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to The Clorox Company Foundation Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent children* or legal wards, age 26 and under as of the application deadline, of full-time active or inactive worldwide employees grade 28 and below.
    *For definition of children, please see the Clorox Benefits Handbook.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited technical/occupational school or two- or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Children of Corporate Officers are ineligible to participate in the scholarship program.

Awards

Up to 15 $2,500 scholarships will be awarded each year and will be paid in U.S. currency. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by The Clorox Company Foundation.

Financial need will not be considered.

Awards may be used for tuition, books, room and board.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in early May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of The Clorox Company Foundation. Awards are paid in one installment in August.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:

  1. A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
  2. Non-U.S. Applicants must also provide a clear photocopy of secondary school credential/diploma/certificate if earned, and/or results of examinations.

Students in countries outside the U.S. are required to submit the electronic application in English and provide English translations for all non-English documents. The native language documents should accompany the English translations.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 20, 2026 3:00 PM Central Time.

Your application is not considered complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
