PNC Bank Trustee of the Charles E. Wolf Educational Trust has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors in Kosciusko County and attend Warsaw Community High School, Tippecanoe Valley High School, Wawasee High School, Triton High School, or Whitko High School.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Charles E. Wolf Educational Trust must:

  • Reside in Kosciusko County, Indiana at the time of application deadline
  • Be a high school senior at Warsaw Community High School, Tippecanoe Valley High School, Wawasee High School, Triton High School, or Whitko High School
  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be an active member of a church
  • Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year

PNC employees or Trust committee members, their immediate family members, and members of their

Awards

Award amounts are determined by the Sponsor’s committee after an examination of all criteria.

The amount of aid granted to a student for a school year shall not exceed the amount of the annual tuition plus one-half (1/2) of the estimated cost of room, board, books and miscellaneous required fees.

Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Work experience
  • Statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • Two online recommendations – one completed by the high school principal and one completed from a pastor, priest, rabbi, or religious leader

Preference will be given to students with a record of service in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Financial need will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate need.

Scholarship America will provide all eligible applicants for each region and Sponsor Trust committee will select recipients.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
