All American Foods Education Assistance Program for Children of Employees

All American Foods, Inc. has established an education assistance program to assist employees’ children who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Financial assistance is offered each year for full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student’s choice.

All American Foods Education Assistance Program for Children of Employees

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the All American Foods Education Assistance Program for Children of Employees must:

  • Be dependent* children (age 24 and under) of full-time All American Foods, Inc. employees and directors who have a minimum of three years employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
    *Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate (minimum of 12 credits) or graduate study (minimum of 6 credits) at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent.

Awards

The authorized annual distribution will vary. Awards of $6,500 will be granted.

Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. A student may receive multiple awards through age 24. Awards can be received for a maximum of four years.

Awards may be used for undergraduate or graduate study.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in July.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes payments on behalf of All American Foods, Inc. The scholarship will be paid in two equal installments, one in August and one in December. Awards are issued in the recipient’s name, made payable to the recipient’s school, and mailed directly to the school.

Selection of Recipients

This is defined as an Education Assistance or subsidy program. Any dependent who meets the eligibility criteria specified will receive an award. The subsidy is considered taxable income to the employee parent and will be reported as income on the employee W2 form. Awards may be used to pay for education-related expenses.

Financial need is not considered. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of All American Foods, Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
