National Scholarship Providers Association Appoints Scholarship America CEO Robert C. Ballard to Board
The National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA), the nation’s largest network and resource specifically designed to support the needs of professionals in the scholarship industry, announces the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors. Robert C. Ballard, President and CEO of Scholarship America, begins his first term this January, 2019.
“We are so delighted to have Bob join our Board of Directors. Almost twenty years ago, Scholarship America was one of the founding members of NSPA and continues to be a leader in the scholarship industry,” notes Jackie Bright, Executive Director of NSPA. “Bob brings a wealth of business savvy to the board. His entrepreneurial pluck and business background will be a great addition to the NSPA leadership.”
Along with over 30 years of experience in higher education financing, Mr. Ballard also brings a career-long passion for helping students access, succeed, and complete their college education. Prior to joining Scholarship America, Bob served in leadership roles at USA Funds, Sallie Mae, Citibank, and EDULINX Canada Corporation.
