Featured Scholarship: New York Life Financial Empowerment Scholarship

This summer, New York Life is launching an innovative new scholarship to inspire the next generation of students to become financially empowered. 

 The New York Life Financial Empowerment Scholarship Program will award 20 graduating high school seniors from the Class of 2025 and rising high school seniors in the Class of 2026 with awards ranging from $10,000 to $20,000. In order to be eligible to apply, students must have completed at least 25 modules of New York Life’s Financial Empowerment Scholarship game in the Zogo app. 

• Eight $20,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who complete at least 50 modules in the game. 

• Twelve $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who complete at least 25 modules in the game. 

 New York Life provides over 180 modules for students to choose from, allowing them to tailor their financial education to their specific needs and interests.  

 Applicants must plan to continue their education after high school in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical or trade school. Students from the Class of 2026 who are selected as recipients will have their award deferred for one year and will receive the award upon high school graduation and enrollment for the 2026-27 academic year.
