Collegium Pharmaceutical Scholarship Program

The Collegium Pharmaceutical Scholarship Program is awarding up to two renewable full-ride scholarships to Massachusetts high school seniors who plan on majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field, including healthcare or medical fields.

Applicants must be Massachusetts residents who plan to enter their first year of full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States all four years. Awards are renewable up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, and on the basis of satisfactory academic performance, including maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and continued full-time enrollment in a STEM program at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

About the Scholarship

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Collegium Pharmaceutical Scholarship Program must:

  • Be a high school senior or graduate who is entering their first year of undergraduate education.*
  • Be a legal resident of the state of Massachusetts currently.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Pursue a degree in STEM** (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Collegium Pharmaceutical employees and dependents of employees of Collegium Pharmaceutical are ineligible to apply.

*Applicants who earned undergraduate credits during high school or participated in a dual enrollment program are eligible.
**Including Healthcare- and Medical-related majors.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a full-ride scholarship award.

Up to 2 awards will be granted.

Awards are renewable up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, and on the basis of satisfactory academic performance, including maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, full-time enrollment in a STEM program (including Healthcare- and Medical-related majors) and continuation of the program by Collegium Pharmaceutical.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Finalists and non-finalists will be notified in April.

All applicants will be notified in May.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Collegium Pharmaceutical.

Payment is made in August.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. Up to 8 finalists will be selected. Finalists will be interviewed by Collegium Pharmaceutical as part of the selection process. Recipients are selected by Collegium Pharmaceutical.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients or finalists.

Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
  • Copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040 used for the Financial Information section of the application. Please black out all social security numbers and bank account information.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 22, 2026 by 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
