Land’s End has established a scholarship program for current students, grade 8-12, attending Land’s End Preferred schools.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Lands’ End School Outfitters Starboard Scholarship Program must:
Children of employees of Lands’ End and the Lands’ End Board of Directors are ineligible.
Limit one (1) application per child.
Only the first 1,000 applications will be accepted. Applications will be accepted from September 11, 2026 through January 15, 2027, or when 1,000 applications have been received.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 26, 2027 with an acceptance deadline of April 25, 2027.
Up to 5 scholarships of $5,000 each will be granted, one student for each grade 8 – 12, regardless of their school’s status as an Exclusive or Non-Exclusive Lands’ End School customer at the time of the scholarship award; provided that he/she is a qualified applicant as determined by Scholarship America. If a grade fails to produce a qualified applicant, the scholarship will be awarded to an at-large applicant.
Only one scholarship will be awarded per school.
Student scholarships can be used in one of the following three ways:
Awards are for high school or undergraduate tuition only.
Scholarships are one-time only; past recipients may not reapply.
The award will be issued by Scholarship America in U.S. currency.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 25, 2027 with an acceptance deadline of April 25, 2027.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Land’s End. Payment is made in August 2027.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need will not be considered. Receipt of this scholarship may negate or otherwise affect the financial aid the student may otherwise receive from other sources.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Land’s End play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
