A scholarship program to assist Guideposts employees’ children who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college and vocational programs.
Guideposts has established this scholarship program to recognize its renowned co-founder, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Funding for the Norman Vincent Peale Scholarship is provided by the late Mrs. Naomi Wilden in memory of her late husband, James K. Wilden. Naomi and Jim Wilden were faithful and generous supporters of Peale Center programs for many years. Before his death, in 1990, Jim Wilden set up the trust fund that makes this gift possible. The scholarship program will assist employees’ children who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college and vocational programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
