General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has established a scholarship program to assist children of GDIT employees who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering or business at an accredited four-year college or university for the upcoming school year.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Note: The recommender for the GDIT scholarship cannot be a relative or anyone related to the student. Children of the leadership team who report directly to the President/CEO are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Up to six (6) awards will be granted, and distributed as follows:
Awards are not renewable, however, students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements. A student may receive an award a maximum of two times.
The GDIT parent must be actively employed at the time of scholarship payments.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Applicants will be notified in mid June.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the GDIT. Payments are made in early August.
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM Central Time.
