NWPX Infrastructure Scholarship Program

NWPX Infrastructure has established a scholarship program to assist children and grandchildren of employees who plan to continue their education in vocational and undergraduate programs.

NWPX Infrastructure Scholarship Program

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility

Applicants to the NWPX Infrastructure Scholarship Program must be:

  • Children* or grandchildren**, age 28 and under, of NWPX Infrastructure or its subsidiary employees who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company at the time recipients are sent to the Sponsor for verification per the program calendar.
    *Children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children, or stepchildren who qualify for benefits provided by the company.
    **Grandchildren or step-grandchildren are defined as natural or legally adopted grandchildren or step-grandchildren of the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited vocational-technical school*, or a two- or four-year college, university for at least one semester/term/quarter during the upcoming academic year.
    Vocational-Technical School and Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Vocational-Technical School and Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term/quarter in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed in August.

Children or grandchildren of officers and executive level employees are ineligible.

Awards

Up to 10 awards will be granted as follows:

  • One award of $5,000
  • Two awards of $4,000
  • Four awards of $2,750, and
  • Three awards of $1,500

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in late March. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.

Payment of Scholarships

Payments are made in August. Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of NWPX Infrastructure.

Scholarship awards are contingent on the sponsoring employee remaining actively employed at NWPX through the date the checks are issued.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need will not be considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of NWPX Infrastructure play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Requirements

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than February 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM Central Time.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
