PNC Bank, N.A. offers the William A. March Education Trust Scholarship to assist students who plan to continue their education in college or graduate school.
High school seniors, high school graduates, current college undergraduates and graduate students are invited to apply for scholarships up to $5,000 from the William A. March Education Trust Scholarship!
This scholarship program is open to any student who plans to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school or graduate school for the entire upcoming academic year. Preference will be given to students from Montgomery County, PA and the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey area, as well as descendants of William A. March, Irene D. March and Ethel Jamison, but these criteria are not required to apply.
Applicants to the William A. March Education Trust Scholarship must:

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of up to $5,000.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
All applicants will be notified in March.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC Bank, N.A. Payment is made in August.

Scholarship America will forward all eligible applicants to the sponsor and the Trust Committee will select the recipients. When selecting recipients, the Trust Committee will give preference to applicants in the following order:
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 13, 2026 by 3:00 p.m. Central Time.
