Menasha Corporation Foundation Scholarship Program
The Menasha Corporation Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist children of Menasha Corporation employees who plan to continue their education in a four year college or university.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Eligibility
Applicants to the Menasha Corporation Foundation Scholarship Program must be:
- Dependent* children, age 24 and under, of full-time U.S. Menasha Corporation employees who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date. Dependents of retired, disabled, or deceased employees and dependents of persons retaining employee status while on lay-off or leave of absence are eligible for the scholarship program.
*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee. - High school seniors who will graduate by the end of the spring term in 2026 and plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year. Applicants may attend a two-year college if the intent is to continue to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,000 award. No more than 25% of the total applicant pool will be selected as recipients with a minimum of 10 awards being granted each year.
- Top ranked recipients will receive awards that are renewable for up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent) and full-time enrollment.
- Remaining recipients will receive awards that are one time only. Past recipients may not reapply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in late-April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
Please make sure to add studentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org as well as the program email address as safe senders in your email contact list.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Menasha Corporation Foundation. Payments are made in one installment in early August.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An essay
- An online recommendation
Financial need will be considered. Recipients will be selected from a pool of qualified applicants with consideration given to those who demonstrate the greatest need.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of the Menasha Corporation Foundation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
- A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
Also as part of your application, three (3) online recommendation forms must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 3, 2026 3:00 PM Central Time.
It is your responsibility to follow up with your recommenders to ensure they receive an email.
Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
