Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties has established scholarship programs to assist high school and college students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

CFPBMC Interview Scholarships

Applicants to the CFPBMC Interview Scholarships must:

    • Be a graduating high school senior
    • Residing in Palm Beach County, Martin County, or Okeechobee County, Florida
    • OR
    • Attending one of the following high schools:
Boca Raton Community High School Saint Andrew’s School
Florida Atlantic University High School Saint John Paul II Academy
Forest Hill Community High School Spanish River Community High School
Katz Yeshiva High School of South Florida West Boca Raton Community High School
Olympic Heights Community High School
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical school in the United States
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (unless noted otherwise)
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards

Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, based on satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale) and part-time or full-time enrollment (unless specified otherwise).

CFPBMC Non-Interview Scholarships

Applicants to the CFPBMC Non-Interview Scholarships must:

    • Be a graduating high school senior residing in Florida
    • OR
    • Attending one of the following high schools:
Jupiter High School Palm Beach Gardens High School
Glades Central High School any Palm Beach County high school
Pahokee High School any Martin County high school
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical school in the United States
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (unless specified otherwise)
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards
  • Homeschooled students are encouraged to apply

CFPBMC Employer Funds

Applicants to the CFPBMC Employer Funds must:

    • Be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, current undergraduate, or graduate student
    • OR
    • Be associated with one of the following employers or groups:
Gunster Weitz Co., FL Division
Palm Beach Kennel Club Willoughby Golf Club
Emmanuel Deliverance Church of God (EDCOG)
OR
Be a resident of Palm Beach County or Martin County, Florida
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical school in the United States
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (unless specified otherwise)
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards

Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they are eligible.

CFPBMC Single Year Awards

Applicants to the CFPBMC Single Year Awards must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior from any Palm Beach County high school
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical school in the United States
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (unless otherwise noted)
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards

Awards are one-time only.

America’s Heroes Scholarship Fund

Applicants to the America’s Heroes Scholarship Fund must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, current undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Be a dependent child or spouse of a fallen law enforcement officer
    • Applicants must provide a letter from the Law Enforcement Agency that the officer worked for stating Line of Duty Death
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or vocational-technical school in the United States
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length, and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards

Allison’s Gift Scholarship Program

Applicants to the Allison’s Gift Scholarship Program must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, current undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Preference to birthmothers who are residents of Florida
  • Preference to birthmothers who have placed their child/children with parents who reside in Florida
  • Plan to enroll in full-time or part-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
    • Part-time enrollment consists of a minimum of 6 credits per term/semester
    • Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length, and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Children of Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties employees are not eligible for these awards
