Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards is a scholarship program to assist dependents of employees of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. who plan to pursue higher education. Renewable scholarships are awarded each year for full-time study at any accredited institution of the recipient student’s choice, for active employees, retirees and surviving spouses/family.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards program must meet the following requirements:
*Dependents are defined as natural and legally adopted children, stepchildren, or legal wards living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
Eligible Operating Companies
If employee works for Nestlé USA, Nestlé Professional, or Nestlé Nutrition, please do not complete this application. These operating companies have their own scholarship program. Please contact the appropriate HR representative for information on their scholarship program.
If employee works for Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, Nespresso, or Nestlé IT, please note these operating companies currently do not have a scholarship program at this time.
Applicants can receive only one scholarship from Nestlé during any one school year. Nestlé scholarship recipients may accept additional scholarships from other sources.
Dependents of company officers of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. or its affiliate companies at management level of Vice President or above are not eligible to apply.
International employees are not eligible to participate in this Program.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $4,700 award.
Awards are for undergraduate study only. Courses taken after attainment of a bachelor’s degree do not qualify even if related to a second undergraduate degree or curriculum.
All applicants will be notified in late May.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Nestlé Health Science Inc. Payment is made in one installment in late July. Checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address and made payable to the school for the student.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
A limit of one award per family per year may be granted. The applicant’s parent must remain an active part-time or full-time employee at the time of selection.
Recipients are selected by Scholarship America. All information received is considered confidential. In no instance does any officer or employee of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
The Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards program reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
