Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards is a scholarship program to assist dependents of employees of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. who plan to pursue higher education.

Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards is a scholarship program to assist dependents of employees of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. who plan to pursue higher education. Renewable scholarships are awarded each year for full-time study at any accredited institution of the recipient student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility
Applicants to the Nestlé Health Science Scholarship Awards program must meet the following requirements:
- A dependent* child of an active part-time or full-time employee of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. or Nestlé Health Science Inc. who has a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline. The years of uninterrupted service with a business purchased by Nestlé count toward meeting this requirement. The dependents of retired and deceased employees are also eligible.
- *Dependents are defined as natural and legally adopted children, stepchildren, or legal wards living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
- A high school senior or graduate who plans to enroll or student who is already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
If employee works for Nestlé USA, Nestlé Professional, or Nestlé Nutrition, please do not complete this application. These operating companies have their own scholarship program. Please contact the appropriate HR representative for information on their scholarship program.
If employee works for Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, Nespresso, or Nestlé IT, please note these operating companies currently do not have a scholarship program at this time.
Applicants can receive only one scholarship from Nestlé during any one school year. Nestlé scholarship recipients may accept additional scholarships from other sources.
Dependents of company officers of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc., Nestlé Health Science Inc. or its affiliate companies at management level of Vice President or above are not eligible to apply.
International employees are not eligible to participate in this Program.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of at least $5,000 award.
Up to 10 Awards of at least $5,000 each will be granted.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years provided that recipients maintain full-time enrollment (typically a course load of at least 12 credits per academic period) and a grade point average each term of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Grades are not cumulative.
Continued parental employment with an eligible operating company during the time of selection.
Awards are for undergraduate study only. Courses taken after attainment of a bachelor’s degree do not qualify even if related to a second undergraduate degree or curriculum.
Notification
All applicants will be notified in late June.
Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Nestlé Health Science Inc. and Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers, Inc. Payment is made in one installment in late July. Checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address and made payable to the school for the student.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, and unusual personal or family circumstances.
Financial need will be considered. Preference will be given to students demonstrating need based on the Student Aid Index (SAI).
A limit of one award per family per year may be granted. The applicant’s parent must remain an active part-time or full-time employee at the time of selection.
Recipients are selected by Scholarship America. All information received is considered confidential. In no instance does any officer or employee of Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers Inc. and Nestlé Health Science Inc. reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.
Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
- A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
- The student’s FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) for the 2026-2027 academic year. The FSS must include all pages of the report. The FAFSA confirmation page is not acceptable. Incomplete or partial reports are not acceptable.
