With 60 years of experience in providing and shaping impactful educational supports to students, and as the voice of the private sector in postsecondary education, Scholarship America is now working to further engage the private sector to support programs and policies that advance equity in postsecondary education. This public policy agenda is the culmination of two years of research and dialogue on issues such as financial aid award displacement, college costs, student debt, tax benefits, public-private partnerships, and college access, persistence and completion.
In December 2014, Scholarship America’s Senior Vice President, Education Programs and Policy, Max Espinoza, joined President Obama, the First Lady, and Vice President Biden along with hundreds of college presidents and other education leaders at the White House College Opportunity Day of Action. As a member of this White House College Opportunity initiative, Scholarship America commits to focus on serving low-to-moderate income students and communities of greatest need. Specifically, Scholarship America will add 110 community-based scholarship chapters across the nation by 2020.
Our Collegiate Partners® are a nationwide network of more than 325 postsecondary institutions that agree to treat scholarships awarded through Scholarship America® programs fairly. Download the Collegiate Partners Directory to find schools near you.
With students at the heart of all we do, Scholarship America’s core mission is to mobilize America through scholarships and other educational support to make postsecondary success possible for all.
