National Grid “Charging Our Future” DEI Engineering Scholarship
The National Grid “Charging Our Future” DEI Engineering Scholarship supports students in underrepresented communities, providing renewable awards of $5,000 and $10,000 per year with a paid internship to engineering majors.
To apply, students must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in New York or Massachusetts for the entire upcoming academic year. In addition, eligible applicants must major in Engineering, have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) and accept a paid summer internship with National Grid for Summer 2026.
Awards are renewable up to three additional years or until an undergraduate degree is earned, whichever occurs first, based on satisfactory academic performance, full-time enrollment in an eligible major, and completing the paid summer internship each year.
