Chia Family Foundation Scholarship
The Chia Family Foundation Scholarship supports Chinese-American students in their pursuit of higher education, providing awards from $5,000 to $15,000 per year.
To apply, students must be Chinese-American by direct lineal descent (based on self-identification and indication of family origins in China; if unknown, applicants will be asked to provide a reason). Applicants must also be U.S. high school graduates who have completed a minimum of one full year of college education by June 2025, and must be planning to enroll full-time in 2025-26 at a private, nonprofit four-year college ranked in U.S. News’s Top Fifty National Liberal Arts Colleges.
Awards are available for students pursuing a first bachelor’s degree, and are renewable up to three additional years or until a first bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Each year of eligible renewal, the award will increase by $1,000. Financial need will be considered, and applicants must have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
