A total of eight awards were presented this year to graduating seniors from Owatonna area high schools by the Gisle A. Johnson and Eva M. Johnson Education Fund.
The Johnsons established the scholarship program in 1991 to help young people from Owatonna continue their postsecondary education. Since the fund’s inception, more than $798,400 has been awarded to local students. Awards are part scholarship, part loan with the loan remaining interest-free while the student is attending school.
This year’s recipients are Allison Baker (Owatonna), Stephanie Dahle (Rochester), Eric Muchow (Owatonna), Rebecca Rasp (Owatonna), Laura Satterlund (Owatonna), Sara Supalla (Owatonna), and Amanda Walkingstick (Owatonna).
The Gisle A. Johnson and Eva M. Johnson Education Fund is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a program of Scholarship America®
