EducationDynamics, the leading marketing information and technology services company dedicated to helping higher education institutions find, enroll and retain students, today announced that in lieu of holiday gifts it has made a $20,000 donation to Scholarship America, a national education service organization that mobilizes support for students getting into and graduating from college. The donation will support Scholarship America’s goal to help 750,000 students complete education beyond high school by 2025.
“Scholarship America provides students with the financial assistance they need to go to college and we are proud to put our holiday gift funds to greater use this season by supporting this incredible organization,” said Tom Anderson, CEO of EducationDynamics. “With our donation, we hope to further our mission to help the right students select and complete the right programs by helping make scholarships available to students who otherwise would not have the resources to earn a post-secondary degree.”
Scholarship America celebrated its 50th year anniversary in October and to date has distributed more than $2.7 billion in scholarships, sending 1.8 million students to college through its various programs including Dollars for Scholars, Dreamkeepers and Scholarship Management Services. Grant and scholarship eligibility is not limited by age, so students of all ages, including adult students, can apply to Scholarship America programs.
“Scholarship America believes that every student deserves an opportunity to go to college, regardless of their financial status,” said Lauren Segal, President and CEO of Scholarship America. “It is through the generous support of organizations such as EducationDynamics that we can continue to offer programs that help make a college degree reality for students who face financial barriers to higher education.”
