Partner Summit | Scholarship America - Coming May 7, 2020

Partner Summit A meeting of minds. A community of practice.

The 2020 #PartnerSummit is coming May 7.

We opened valuable dialogues at the first two Scholarship America Partner Summits. Let’s keep it going in a new decade.

At the third annual Scholarship America Partner Summit, great minds will come together for a day of discussing challenges and identifying solutions.

The annual Summit gives us an opportunity to learn from students, best-in-class providers and each other, and to work collaboratively to incorporate social, cultural and financial supports into existing scholarship programs. In 2020, we’ll be focusing on how we can be better advocates for students—and how we can help them learn more about advocating for themselves.

Follow Scholarship America on Twitter and LinkedIn to see updates on panels and speakers. Registration is currently open. Current Scholarship America partners can use discount code PARTNER2020 at the Checkout screen to get their tickets free of charge. Get your tickets today!

Areas of Focus

We’re working on finalizing a great group of speakers, panels and topics, including these areas you’ve told us you’d like to explore:

  • What does it mean to advocate for students?
  • How can scholarship organizations incorporate student advocacy into their programs? And how can we work together to do so?
  • What are Scholarship America’s policy initiatives in Washington, DC?
  • How have our scholarship recipients joined advocacy efforts across the spectrum?

There’s more to come, so stay tuned for details!

What Are Communities of Practice?

Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. Scholarship America invites all Partner Summit attendees to join our Community of Practice: a quarterly virtual symposium that will stay in touch and work toward the goals we identify together. This is a unique opportunity to bring together a variety of perspectives, and we hope you’ll be as excited as we are to keep the conversation moving forward in support of students.

“The most valuable asset this country has is not gold or oil, but the minds of young people.”
Dr. Irving A. Fradkin, Founder, Scholarship America
