Tina Lee Elected Chair of Scholarship America’s Board of Trustees

Scholarship America®, the nation’s leading nonprofit scholarship and educational support organization, is pleased to announce that Tina Lee has been elected to serve as the Chair of Scholarship America’s Board of Trustees. Lee will begin her role as Chair, effective immediately.
She follows J. Barry Griswell, the recently retired CEO of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, who has served as Chair of Scholarship America since 2017, after completing his term. He will continue to serve on the board as Immediate Past Chair.
Lee is the managing director of the World Journal and president of Cooper Investors, Inc. She is in her second term on Scholarship America’s Board of Trustees, having previously served nine years on of the Board from 2004 to 2013. Lee is also founder and president of the Greater New York Chinese Dollars for Scholars, part of Scholarship America’s community-based network that distributes local scholarships to local students.

She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and a member of the New York Bar. Lee received her Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
