The Talbots Scholarship Foundation Celebrates Grace, Confidence and Wisdom
Support America's Students The Talbots Charitable Foundation's scholarship program was created to support those women ready to start a new chapter and
pursue a college degree later in life. The program is managed by Scholarship America, and awarded $180,000 in college scholarships for the 2011 academic year; since its inception in 1997, Talbots has awarded over $1 million in scholarships.
"We embrace the grace, confidence, and wisdom of the Talbots scholarship recipients, past and future, and look forward to many years of making dreams come true and helping women live richer, fuller lives," said Trudy Sullivan, CEO of Talbots. The Dream Award
Scholarship America’s Dream Award is a new multi-year,
performance-based scholarship fund targeted toward completion.
These renewable, annually-increasing awards will be given to students selected from across the nation
who are entering their second year of education beyond high school.
