Tom Matchinsky Joins Scholarship America as Director of Sales, Great Lakes RegionPrevious Article Next Article
Scholarship America, Inc., the nation’s largest nonprofit scholarship and education support organization, today announced that Tom Matchinsky has joined the organization as the new Director of Sales, Great Lakes Region for Scholarship Management Services (SMS). SMS is Scholarship America’s social enterprise that creates custom scholarship, tuition assistance and other education-focused programs for corporate, foundation and individual clients.
Matchinsky brings his experience in employee benefits to the Scholarship America SMS team. Most recently he served as Director of Health Analytics for UnitedHealthcare.
"I am thrilled to join Scholarship America SMS because it gives me the opportunity to facilitate access to higher education more affordably, just as I enjoyed as a college student through the scholarship offered by my mother’s employer,” Matchinsky said. “The dedication that my incredible colleagues at Scholarship America show toward our mission of making postsecondary success possible is remarkable and I look forward to helping bring the benefits of these programs to even more students.”
Scholarship America’s Great Lakes Region includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Matchinsky’s home state of Minnesota , where he will be working in Edina.
