Kaplan University, a leading provider of online postsecondary education, today announced an agreement with Scholarship America to provide the organization’s Scholarship Management Services division with special tuition rates for the University’s online degree programs. This agreement will help make higher education more accessible and affordable for thousands of Americans.
“Kaplan University and Scholarship America share a common goal of providing access to postsecondary education for those who otherwise may not have been able to earn a degree,” said Gregory Marino, President of the Kaplan University Group. “This agreement provides this same opportunity to the thousands of individuals affiliated with Scholarship America, who are seeking a rigorous academic experience that combines innovation and a student-centered approach to higher education.”
Kaplan University strives to make dreams of pursuing higher education a reality for the millions of people who do not have college degrees. To demonstrate its commitment to this cause, the University will launch a series of scholarships and special tuition rate programs to make the pursuit of higher education more manageable for more Americans.
Under this agreement, Scholarship America’s Scholarship Management Services’ corporate clients and their families will be eligible for a 10 percent tuition reduction on more than 100 academic programs offered by the University. This agreement also provides the special rate to Kaplan Virtual Education’s online programs for students in grades 6 through 12 and Kaplan Continuing Education’s online certificates. Scholarship America’s Scholarship Management Services division is the nation’s preeminent administrator of scholarship, tuition assistance and education loan programs for corporations, foundations and individuals.
“Scholarship America’s mission is to mobilize America to make postsecondary education possible for all students. This partnership with Kaplan gives us the opportunity to give our clients and their families significant tuition discounts in this difficult economy, thereby reducing their financial barriers to postsecondary education,” said Mim Schreck, President of Scholarship America.
