Is Digg defining a new direction for the curation economy? And could the new site help us cope with information overload?

Scholarship America®, the nation’s leading nonprofit scholarship and educational support organization, has earned Charity Navigator’s coveted 4-star rating for the eighth consecutive year for sound fiscal management.

Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, rates charities on their ability to efficiently manage and grow their finances.

Only one percent of charities rated by Charity Navigator have received 4-star evaluations eight years in a row, “indicating that Scholarship America executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way and outperforms most charities in America.” said Ken Berger, President/Chief Executive Officer of Charity Navigator, in a letter to Scholarship America. “This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Scholarship America from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

“We take great pride in Scholarship America’s ability to serve its donors efficiently and effectively and are pleased to be ranked among the nations top charities,” said Mim Schreck, Interim President, Scholarship America.

Through its inspiring group of programs, Scholarship America provides resources and structure for communities, schools, companies, foundations and individuals who would like to transform the lives of students in order to create a better nation through education.
