Vanessa Scholarship America's Dreamkeepers program provides emergency financial assistance to students at community colleges across the country who are faced with unexpected financial crises. These awards -- averaging $500 -- often make the difference between staying in school and dropping out.

Katie Couric Gives Back

Student All profits from Couric's new book, "The Best Advice I Ever Got," will be donated to Scholarship America, the charity selected by Couric, to further the mission of ensuring education beyond high school for all students.
