Scholarship News & EventsSmall Donations Make a Big Difference Scholarship America started with a simple idea: donations of as little as a dollar can help students get to college. This idea continues today, as Scholarship America's Dollars for Scholars regions once again host the Dollar A Day In May campaign. New England Dollars for Scholars Online Auction Open for Viewing; Bidding Starts May 1 The second annual New England Dollars for Scholars online auction kicks off again this spring, with items open to view on April 15 and bidding beginning May 1. Visit the auction site now, come back often to check out donated items ranging from baseball tickets to hotel suites to meetings with financial aid professionals, and get your bids in! Illinois Dollars for Scholars Announces Lincolnland Legends Essay Contest Winners Twelve Illinois high school students were recently awarded $3,000 scholarships for their winning essays in the Lincolnland Legends Essay Contest. The first and second place essays earned their authors an additional $7,000 and $2,000, respectively, in scholarship funds.
