2016 Scholarship America Dreams to Degrees

Sponsor a student. Change a life.

In addition to your event sponsorship or ticket purchase, for $5,000 you can sponsor a life-changing, day-long experience in Washington, D.C. for scholarship recipients attending the event that includes:

  • 9:00 am: Visit with United States Senator at Senate office buildings
  • 10:30 am: Visit to House of Representatives building to meet with policy leaders
  • 12:00 pm: Lunch in Longworth Congressional Cafeteria
  • 1:00 pm: White House Meeting with the Office of Public Engagement
  • 7:00pm: Attend Dreams to Degrees gala with over 400 corporate and policy leaders

Sarah Ashcraft, a Dream Award scholarship winner, was able to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime experience last year saying, "I want to be a school psychologist after I graduate as well as an activist for education, so to get to do some of that with all these powerful people in the room was so awesome," Ashcraft said. "I felt like a lot of doors opened for me on this trip."

The Dream Award

Dream Award Scholarship America’s Dream Award is a renewable scholarship fund targeted toward completion. These annually-increasing awards will be given to students selected from across the nation who are entering their second year of education beyond high school.
