Pledges of any amount can be made to Scholarship America and you can make your contribution in easy installments. The Advancement team will send out a pledge reminder to you monthly, quarterly, or yearly, whichever you prefer. Planned Giving
Scholarship America offers a full range of planned gifts and life income agreements. Advantages often include lifetime income, current income tax deductions and estate tax savings. Please call 800-279-2083 for information or sample gift calculations.

Transfer Appreciated Securities to Scholarship America
The transfer of appreciated securities to a nonprofit has tax-saving advantages. Call 800-279-2083 for information on how to transfer stock directly from your account to Scholarship America.

Contribute Through Workplace Campaigns
Many companies as well as federal (civilian and military) and state employees have the opportunity to designate specific charities for contributions through payroll deduction. Please check with your local United Way as well as campaigns involving Educate America! and Independent Charities of America to find out how to make Dollars for Scholars, a program of Scholarship America, your contribution choice.

Contribute Matching Gifts from Your Employer
Some companies will also match charitable contributions made by their employees to Scholarship America. Check with your human resources department to find out if this option is available where you work.

Please indicate how you would like your name listed in our Donor Report, published each fall with Scholarship America’s Annual Report, or if you would like your gift to remain anonymous. Your gift amount will remain confidential. Within two weeks of receiving your tax deductible contribution, you will receive a thank you and receipt letter.

Dollars for Scholars®, a program of Scholarship America®, is a national network of more than 1,200 grassroots community-based, volunteer-driven scholarship foundations in cities, towns and neighborhoods throughout the United States. Last year, Dollars for Scholars chapters raised more than $58.3 million, awarded nearly $29 million in scholarships to more than 35,000 students, and invested the remainder primarily in endowment funds for future scholarships.
