Dollars for Scholars 2012 ChapterNet Training
The 2012 Dollars for Scholars ChapterNet training workshops will be held throughout the country from now through Labor Day, and will provide hands-on, expert-led training on the new ChapterNet technlogy platform. This platform will assist Dollars for Scholars chapters with all elements of chapter administration and management, from online scholarship application and evaluation to online donations, donor and recipient tracking and more -- and this training session is a great chance to get started! Conference attendees will be able to create their chapter's website and online scholarship applications on the spot.
If your chapter has not yet attended any in-depth training, mark your calendar for the date and venue nearest you. Most events will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Pre-registration is required via the links below; registration at the door will not be available. Just click the registration link at your preferred conference to get started, and visit the ChapterNet page on the Chapter Portal for more information.

Keeping Dreams Alive
Scholarship America's Dreamkeepers program provides emergency financial assistance to students at community colleges across the country who are faced with unexpected financial crises. These awards -- averaging $500 -- often make the difference between staying in school and dropping out.
Katie Couric Gives Back
All profits from Couric's new book, "The Best Advice I Ever Got," will be donated to Scholarship America, the charity selected by Couric, to further the mission of ensuring education beyond high school for all students.
Our Strategic Plan
2012-2025
Our mission is to make postsecondary education possible for all students; our goal is to assist 750,000 students in completing their education beyond high school by 2025. Our CEO, Lauren Segal, outlines the plan in this video.
